KQuestions maintains independence from any specific church, denomination, or religious organization. We are not against "influence alliances" broadly (where people or groups with similar audiences/goals frequently collaborate)—but in general, we seek to facilitate “across the aisle” content and conversations.
This means some of our work will make the conservative-leaning uncomfortable, and other parts will make the progressive-leaning uncomfortable. It’s not an easy path, and it’s a bold bet we’re making that people will support and share our values in such a loud, chaotic world of “picking sides”—sometimes even inside Jesus’ church.
Independence is our long-term goal, and this will mean growing more slowly at times (rage, controversy, and alliances are excellent for growth). In another sense, we submit ourselves to the interdependence and accountability described by the Bible. And in our case, we believe this should span an unusual amount of denominations, cultures, and perspectives. What this practically looks like is being careful about wading so deeply into any one body of water that we lose our ability to be a bridge inside God’s “big C church.”
